Over the weekend, Kim, 41, took to social media to share a song that she’s been listening to.
The song – Leave Me by Anees – alluded to heartbreak, which fans took as a sign that it was her that got dumped.
Shortly after Pete made his first appearance in a teaser for the famous family’s Hulu reality series, news broke that the relationship had ended.
Meanwhile, fans have been focused on what Kim’s next move may be.
Rumors are swirling about who she will date, or who she may already be dating.
Her supporters have theories about who would be a good match for her, while some think she ran back into the arms of an old flame.
Kim has been quiet amid the speculation and hasn’t been seen with anyone.
ROMANTIC POSSIBILITIES
While there’s been no shortage of speculation about who the mom-of-four will date next, fans recently floated a new theory.
On TikTok, a user created a video suggesting that the SKIMS founder hook up with Trevor Noah.
She noted in the clip: “I would actually love to see Kim with somebody in particular: Trevor Noah.”
The social media user went on: “He’s black, he’s rich, he’s very successful, he’s very highly regarded as an intellectual intelligent person, and with Kim almost becoming a lawyer – she’s still working towards that – I think she needs to get with this type of a guy more so than another rapper or another athlete.”
She added: “Remember, he just broke up with Minka Kelly and he has been riding hard for our girl Kim.”
Kim’s former husband Kanye West previously slammed Trevor, 38, in an Instagram caption featuring a racial slur after the South African TV host defended Kim amid an onslaught of negativity online from her ex.
The Daily Show host hit back, writing in part: “You’re an indelible part of my life Ye. Which is why it breaks my heart to see you like this. I don’t care if you support [Donald] Trump and I don’t care if you roast Pete. I do however care when I see you on a path that’s dangerously close to peril and pain.”
He’s far from the first man Kim’s fans have attempted to link her to.
ROMANCE RUMORS?
In the days after Kim and Pete’s split went public, her supporters got to work suggesting men she could date moving forward.
Some seemed to think Van Jones might be a good fit, noting that Kim was once his legal mentee.
She and the CNN staffer met through their mutual interest in social justice causes, and worked together on criminal-justice reform, helping to free Alice Johnson from jail back in 2018 after she was booked for life on a first-time drug offense.
“Nobody cares about Pete and Kim’s PR relationship, when we all know she’s been quietly dating Van Jones of CNN,” one person tweeted.
Another agreed: “Can Kim Kardashian just make her relationship with Van Jones public now?”
While a third called out: “So Kim and Pete was a PR stunt. We all (saw) that coming…. but her real man is Van Jones.”
In an April 5, 2022 episode of his podcast, Uncommon Ground with Van Jones, the reporter said: “I know it was so weird, I was like, ‘No, we’re just working on trying to get people out of prison,’ but it was a cool rumor.”
Kim chimed in and replied: “So many people asked me also and I was like, ‘You guys … I need a minute before I’m out there.’ You know? Give me a minute, at least.”
Van told PageSix of the speculation: “I never made any comments about the rumors of me and Kim Kardashian dating as I found it absurd.
“It was flattering for me, but it probably wasn’t flattering for her.”
Fans have also speculated that Kim might date Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Other fans think that Kim and Kanye are back on.
While she hasn’t said anything to prove that, fans have noted several clues in her social media posts.
