Motherhood is lonely. Always think of yourself as a single mom – Bashir El-Rufai’s wife advises follower who asked why men are skipping their duties
Bashir El-Rufai’s wife, Halima Nwakaego has said that motherhood is lonely.

The mother of twin boys stated this on Monday December 19, during a question and answer session with her followers on Instagram.
Responding to a question on why some men skip their duties as husbands, she advised the follower to think of herself as a single mother.

“Always think of yourself as a single mother, that way you expect nothing from anyone and never get disappointed,” she said.

“You do your part and that’s the most important thing. Stop looking at what others aren’t doing for your children. Ask for help instead of assuming people will offer.” she added.

Dumb advice.
Better go be a single mother then instead of deceiving yourself in marriage. This is why marriages keep getting worse. Excusing an adult and making them comfortable to behave anyhow …. So if it was a woman that refuses to be responsible in the home the man should take up her responsibilities too? Clean, cook, Feed and bath the kids while still providing financially while the mother is still in the marriage like all is well? How stupid does that sound?
