True Life Story: Married Woman Becomes Compound Sl*t To Save Husband-Pls Advise

This happened to a couple living in the same compound with us. I want everyone to share their honest opinion cos everyone is blaming the man’s wife but I hold a different view. Let me try and keep it very short. So, in my compound, there is this couple who are not well to do living in the boys quarters. I think the husband is a security man while the wife sells this local herbs they call kparaga.
I used to wonder how this man and his four children and his wife used to manage living in one room in the boys quarters. From time to time, I see them using their children to hawk wares too. The children also run errands for some tenants in the main flats. I used to pray that none of the tenants take advantage of these young kids especially the older girl who is now a teenager with small breasts showing.
What I did not know what that it was the mother that I should have been worried about. So, early last year, the man fell ill with a stroke. The man was taken to the village after they could not pay the hospital bills in Lagos. It was left to the wife now, to take care of the family and also send money home to treat the husband traditionally.

Before we knew what was happening…the woman became pregnant like 4 months after her husband was ill. We all initially thought maybe her husband’s thing was not affected by the stroke…so maybe they were knacking when she went to visit him in the village and he got her pregnant.
In December, this woman gave birth and even some of us in the compound contributed money for her to help with the new baby cos we all felt it must be very hard for her with her husband’s situation. Even me, I tried to talk to her about contraceptives cos she now has five children under one room with a sick husband.
Well, a few days ago, the husband returned back to Lagos. We were all very happy for him o. Even though the stroke still affected one leg and one hand…at least he could walk and talk unlike before. The next thing we heard was quarrelling and fighting. Some of our neighbors who heard them rushed to their room to find out what happened.
It turns out that the man said he never slept with his wife throughout when he was sick. The baby is not his. He was not even aware the wife was pregnant. She kept the secret all through. Now, the man wants her to confess who the father of the baby is and pack out of his house.
The woman was crying begging saying she made a mistake…that she was hustling hard to make money when the husband was sick that she slept with someone who gave her 100k….but she didn’t know she was pregnant until the pregnancy was too late to abort.
Immediately, everyone turned on the woman. Called her names for being a slut while her husband was sick and dying. But in my opinion, she did what she had to do because she was looking for money. But the biggest shock of all was when the woman revealed who the father of the baby is. The woman pointed to one of our neighbors who’s wife is a banker, she is always busy.

This woman used to help them clean their house sometimes, wash clothes. That is how the husband was knacking this madam and got her pregnant. He even gave her money to abort but she didn’t discover pregnancy on time, it was too late. The man of course is denying it. Saying that most men in our compound were f*cking this woman.
The man was saying that she was an easy woman begging for men to f*ck her and pay her money so she can feed her children. That one, their marriage is on fire now. The wife is part of the people saying this woman must pack out. Why,cos your husband cannot keep his pr*ck in tack? Madam face your husband let me praying for my own too…lol
Me sef, fear catch me for my husband o…I wont lie but fear did not let me ask him if he nacked her too…God protect us from bad omen in Jesus name. You see, all the men in our compound are now a suspect but this woman is saying this particular oga is the father. The woman said some other men actually promised to give her money if she allowed them to sleep with her but she did not agree for them but only this man she agreed for.
Well, she could be lying because everyone knows that most women who sell this kparaga are easy women. Abi, is it not the thing to make man have strong libido they are selling? Maybe the customers want to test the potency of the kparaga first before the buy. Lets not pretend…we all know this is what happens in this society.
The husband of this woman cannot deny he is not aware that men would come after his wife with her big bum-bum selling kparaga to randy men. No one is talking about useless men that took advantage of a frustrated woman who was only looking for a way to make a living for her family….
They are all condemning her for being a slut. Yes, she was wrong but what about the married men…why is no one asking them to behave…must you f*ck a woman to help her? And to the husband…must he throw her out simply because she did wrong? If he does nto want the baby, they can give the baby to a motherless babies’ home but I think its unfair to completely punish the woman cos this life no balance…
How much kparaga will she sell to raise 5 children? why did the husband not ask where she got all the money she has been sending for his treatment…is it from kparaga? Really? No one is asking o….and she was sending money steady for the man to continue treatment and now the man is well and he wants to throw her out? If it was the man that cheated and got another woman pregnant, wont we be asking the woman to forgive?
This woman has been crying saying she did it to save the man. Please what do you all think? Kindly share your views to help this couple.

I share your thoughts too about why everyone isn’t blaming the men for asking for S.e.x before helping a frustrated woman, if it’s the husband who got another lady pregnant we would be asking the wife to forgive and all that…
Experience has taught me that men do not forgive a cheating wife and do not have S.e.x with another man to ‘save’ your husband.
I really pray the woman is forgiven and that she’s given a second chance.

I understand it isn’t easy catering for the kids and also looking out for the sick husband, which led to what she did but still it’s wrong, there’s nothing that will justify it right…Dear poster you said must the husband throw her out, do you think it’s that easy to forgive a cheating partner most especially when you have been away for a long time then comes back to see another child in which you aren’t responsible for, that alone can break a man,it’s actually painful, that’s the way he chose to respond, people tend to act in differently when they are upset, he doesn’t want to be in same space with his wife, in other to think properly… the only thing you can do is keep talking to the man to forgive his wife and make him understand why the wife did it…….I will like to ask you a question, how many women help their fellow women, If she had gone to a fellow woman for help, do you think she will get such help? Women hardly help themselves……. I don’t know why most men would sleep with a lady before helping her, that’s really bad, i don’t know what the world is turning into………The husband should find it in his heart to forgive her, it is well….
I would like to add another view to some of the things you made mention of – “Why most men sleep with a lady before helping her and why women don’t help themselves”.
The simple and unfortunate truth is that most men (male and female) don’t actually like helping people when it comes to money matter in this society if there’s no benefit for them. That’s why women don’t help each other and they also don’t help guys too except if they need him for sugar mummy – toyboy partnership. It’s like payment for a service.
So it is that same way men actually help a lady by demanding for S.e.x. Demanding for that S.e.x and paying is like carrying out a transaction. You needed an item you desire, and you saw a needy seller who had such item, then you will desperately chase & influence the seller till you eventually buy the item. That’s how this S.e.x for favour thing now works. No more free favours when it comes to money. People must gain or have a chance to gain from you (in the future) before helping.
Imagine if he was to give that woman the 100k without requesting for S.e.x, will the woman ever be able to pay back the debt in 5-10 years time or even more years or till eternity? So instead of banking on a vague promise of “I will pay you back one day”, they will eventually settle down with asking for S.e.x to quickly carry out the transaction, by helping each other out if there is no other way to repay the money.
I’m not supporting anybody that live life this way but I am just stressing that this is how most people in the society (if not all) now runs with this egoistic mentality. Scratch my back, so that I will scratch your back. Without that, you can’t get money freely.

Very ungrateful man. Where did he think she was getting the money from for his treatment? Why didn’t he protest then? He should just quietly take that child as his or they give it up for adoption if they can’t cater for the baby.
