A man identified as Hussaini Lawan and his young pregnant wife were found dead in their apartment in Abuja last saturday.
It must have surely looked like a scene out of ‘Romeo and Juliet’, as the man, Hussaini Lawan and his young pregnant wife, were found sprawled on the floor, stone dead in their Abuja apartment last weekend.
The tragic story came into the limelight when one Salim Sani posted the shocking news on his Facebook page yesterday.

According to Sani, the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 10, 2023, a few days after the couple returned to Abuja from Kano.
Salim Sani wrote:
“Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rajiun, our brother hussaini lawan & his beloved wife found dead in their matrimonial home in the early hours of today. please include them in your beautiful prayers, may allah swt forgive their shortcomings and grant them aljannatul firdaus. aameen,”
The cause of the the couple’s death has not been deciphered at the time of this report.
However, some people are claiming that the couple died as a result of suspected food poisoning.
