When Christine Brown tied the knot with husband David Woolley in Moab, Utah, over the weekend, the guest list for the affair included just one of her Sister Wives costars.

Janelle Brown was in attendance to help celebrate the couple’s big day, while Christine’s ex-husband Kody, as well as Meri and Robyn, were absent for the nuptials.

Janelle, 54, and Christine, 51, have remained close since they both left their decades-long plural marriage with Kody. Christine walked away in 2021 after 25 years. She shares daughters Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 20, Truely, 13, and son Paedon, 25, with her ex.

Janelle went on to separate from Kody the following year, after nearly 30 years of spiritual marriage. They are parents to six children: sons Logan, 29, Hunter, 26, Garrison, 25, and Gabriel, 21, and daughters Madison, 27, and Savanah, 18.

Kody and Meri are no longer together either. The father of 18 remains legally married to Robyn, who he wed in 2014.

Earlier this year, Christine told PEOPLE that after she met Woolley, she let him know right away that Janelle is a big part of her life.

“When I told him, I’m like, ‘I have a lot of kids and I have a sister wife, and everywhere I go, Janelle has to come with me and all of her children come with me too. There’s not just me,’” she recalls. “And he’s like, ‘Okay. Okay.’”

Following the announcement of Christine’s engagement to Woolley earlier this year, Janelle shared her excitement for the couple’s relationship milestone.

She commented “hurray” alongside multiple exclamation points beneath Christine’s Instagram announcement. Janelle also shared the post on her Instagram Story and animated sticker that read: “HAPPY.”

Ahead of her wedding, Christine told PEOPLE that planning the Oct. 7 nuptials, which took place at the Red Cliffs Lodge, had been stressful at times.

“There’s been so many moving pieces with people coming, and not coming, and then you’re always going to offend someone,” she says.

Adds Woolley, “There’s always family drama.”

Despite the ups and downs of prepping for the big day, which included a stunning cruise down the Colorado river, (the couple enlisted expert Danielle Rothweiler to help plan the festivities) their ceremony was exactly what they wanted.

“The view, the scenery, it’s unreal,” says David. “You can’t beat it.”

Adds Christine: “It’s a fairytale. It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”

Following their vows, the newlyweds danced the night away with their 330 guests under a tent decorated with twinkling lights and florals. “All people that we absolutely love,” says Christine.

“We’re very lucky,” says David.
