95 Years Old Man Marries A ‘Young Wife’ In Abuja
A 95 Years-Old man identified as; Alhaji Mohammed Sabo, has reportedly married a 14 years-old girl in an Abuja community.
The wedding fatiha took place on 5 May 2023, at Dogun Ruwa under Gawu, in Abaji Council Area of the F.C.T.
The gist came into the Limelight, when one Ibraheem Sa’eedu posted pictures of the couple, and the wedding invitation on Facebook.
According to his post:
“Hard to believe to some, let me assure you that it is for real. Happy married life in advance. The code is 5/5/23. Venue: Dogun Ruwa under Gawu, Abaji Council Area of the F.C.T”
According to another Facebook post made by one Hussaini Duma Jagaba;
“As l have witnessed this wedding today, l pray may God bless the marriage. 14 years and 95 years. For the interview we made with the old man yesterday after the wedding fatiha, he said that whatever people say he don’t care about that, because they love each other. Some people may think that they force her or that she married him for money. People should stop thinking negative things about their marriage.”

Well, l don’t know whether they love each other or not. Or whether the girl was forced into the marriage or not. Or whether she married the man old enough to be her great-grandfather father, for money or not.
But what l know is that; if l had mistakenly ran into the wedding venue, and seen this old man with this young girl. That l must have shouted;
“What’s going on here?”
Then, l would have next shouted;
“I’m outta here!”
