Top Nigerian singer, actor, and politician Bankole Wellington aka Banky W together with Gospel artist Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Pastor Blessed, are set to address the Church Congregation of Waterbrooks Church in Lagos, today being Sunday, 25 June 2023, amidst Banky W’s alleged cheating scandal.
“Don’t miss church tomorrow”, Banky W commented yesterday evening, in response to a church poster he shared on his Instagram page, about the program at the above named church that deals with overcoming pornography.
The poster read;
“It is Series Finale. Glad to be wrapping up “The Road to Freedom” series with @bankywellington this Sunday. Chains of Pornography will be broken by the word. Invite someone as you come. Jesus is Lord!”

As the poster was posted in the midst of the singer’s alleged cheating scandal, many of his fans flooded the comment area to promise that they would not miss the church service at Waterbrooks church Lagos.
Recall that unsubstantiated rumours have been flying around Social media since yesterday morning alleging that Banky W had cheated on his wife; the ever beautiful and popular actress, Adesua Etomi.
And that Banky W had not only had an extramarital affair with another lady rumored to be named Niyola, but had even impregnated the said lady, who was once a signee on his music record label.
According to a well-known Instagram gossip site;
“ the light-skinned singer and politician” had an unplanned pregnancy with his side chic. He urged her to terminate the child but she refused, especially since she had already aborted two babies for him.”
Since then rumours broke, the media space has been buzzing with mixed reactions. With some online users taking in the rumours at once hook, line and sinker. While others choose to be more cautious about believing the rumours, until they are either confirmed to be true or proven to be false.
