Cole Hauser‘s acting career began alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names in 1990s hits like Dazed & Confused, School Ties, and Good Will Hunting. He continued with performances in blockbusters like Olympus Has Fallen and 2 Fast, 2 Furious. But perhaps none of his roles have captured the hearts of viewers as his portrayal of fan-favorite Rip Wheeler in the TV drama Yellowstone. On the Paramount Network show, he stars as a ranch hand alongside ranch owner and family patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner). Rip’s steamy romantic relationship with Dutton’s daughter, Beth (Kelly Reilly), often leaves fans swooning and might have you wondering if Hauser is married in real life.

The answer is … yes! Cole has been married to actress-turned-photographer Cynthia Daniel since 2006, and you might even recognize her famous face from her 1990s career.

Cynthia began modeling alongside her twin sister, Brittany, when they were 11 years old. They famously appeared in ads for Doublemint Gum as the Doublemint Twins.

From 1994-1997, the duo starred in the popular TV show Sweet Valley High as Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield. Cynthia appeared in Basketball Diaries and That 80s Show before retiring from acting in 2002. Cynthia is currently a professional photographer and has a company, Five Arrows Photography.

Just four years after she retired from acting, Cynthia and Cole tied the knot. There’s not much known about how they met or their wedding, but Cynthia frequently shares throwback photos on her Instagram account of the two.

In 2004, the couple welcomed their first child together, Ryland. Four years later, their second child, Ryland, was born, and in 2013, their third child, Steely Rose, was welcomed into the world.

Although the two keep their family life fairly private, in an interview with The Havok Journal in 2020, Cole opened up about his role as a father and husband, “I am always making time for each and every one of my children and also my wife, also, as a family together. I am good about making time for the whole family. You have to figure that balance out. But as a father and a husband you have to make the time and work just as hard at it.”
