Man pours acid on girlfriend; for refusing blood covenant with him.
A deeply distressing story has been shared by a 22 years-old Ghanaian lady simply identified as ‘Martha’.
In an interview with Ghana Media page yesterday, Martha narrated how her ex- boyfriend hired thugs to pour acid on her for refusing to have a blood covenant with him.

Martha; who still bears visible signs of an acid attack, explained that prior to the acid attack, that her ex- boyfriend had been suspecting her of cheating on him, though he never once caught her in the act.
Consequently, the ex-boyfriend then proposed a blood covenant between them to “test her love for him”.
And when Martha declined the proposition, the ex-boyfriend then hired thugs, who stormed into her house one afternoon, and poured acid on her, as she was innocently checking the Tv antenna behind her room.

Martha further explained that, though policemen later found evidences of phone conversations during their investigations; purportedly showing that it was her ex-boyfriend that orchestrated the acid attack on her. That no arrests has been made ever since the attack occurred.
Well, l never knew that blood covenants still exist today; with all the deadly infections flying around. I even thought that it was a thing of the past.
