Tanzanian Bongo superstar Alikiba’s wife Amina Khalef is demanding a divorce from the singer after months of living separately as a couple.
In a statement, shared on Thursday, Amina said that she is tired of being disrespected by the Kings Music CEO and it’s time he signs Divorce papers and set her free.
In her message, Amina noted that they have not been together as a couple but King Kiba keeps on frustrating.
She went on to state that Kiba has been keeping her hostage with the tag ‘Someone’s wife’ yet on his side continues to live his life with no restrictions.
“Nimeona kuna haja ya kuaddress, | think hii inaenda kuwa too much!!! I am tired of being disrespected publicly huku watu wakiwa hawaelewi situation iliyopo’ katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU!!!
“Nimeondoka kwenye maisha yako kuepuka maumivu, abuse na mengi, lakini mpaka leo HUTAKI kunipatia Divorce huku wewe ukiwa huru kufanya mambo yako na mimi ukinifunga katika kivuli cha MKE WA MTU, (In the name of Kulinda Brand as you said), Kindly nakuomba SIGN THE PAPERS ili nipate Divorce yangu kila mmoja aendelee kwa uhuru, Asante!,” a frustrated Amina said.
Amina’s outburst seems to have been triggered by King Kiba’s cozy video with businesswoman Niffer.
Niffer has been promoting Kiba’s upcoming Charity Tournament as the two have raised eyebrows after Alikiba followed her on Instagram.
In February 2022, Amina Khalef filed for a divorce from her husband accusing him of infidelity adding that she had allegedly faced verbal abuse from her in-laws, which she says began about six months into their marriage.
Khalef said efforts to try to resolve their marriage issues had been futile as her husband was unresponsive, concluding that the marriage was broken beyond repair.
“The marriage is irreversibly severely broken with no chance of being salvaged,” she said in papers presented in court.
Khalef demanded Sh200,000 monthly upkeep for her and their children as well as medical cover for the two.
Amina who got married to Kiba in April 2018, accused him of infidelity adding that she had allegedly faced verbal abuse from her in-laws, which she says began about six months into their marriage.
