Starting Up a business With My skill or Job Hunting Please advise!

Please I need advise on what to do right now am super confused.
Am a young lady of 30 yrs. I just finished serving not married 😥, I was opportun to serve in a reputable company. last month our finance manager and CFO left the company and they employed new people and other consultants my work load increased and a lot of questions from the new people, last week was my POP so two weeks before my POP I went to the new CFO to know if I will be retained he said left for him he will employ me but he will talked to our HR .
So next time I followed up with him he said that HR told him that the will call me for an interview before my POP i should continue working hard I left , next week I went to our assistant HR I gave her the date of my POP and asked her if I will be retained she said that they don’t retain copers unless it crucial but she have not gotten any information if am to stay or not, wanted to submit my system because I have done my last clearance she said my last day will be a day before my POP and I should go discuss with my line manager I asked my line manager he said I should continue coming to work I continued so my supposed last day I did not go to work because I went to secretariat to sign out the next day was my POP so I resumed work the next day that morning my line managers non cares to congratulate me they were busy shouting at me asking me why I did not work from home. I felt bad but managed to give response.

Today I had a conversation with one of the head of departments he advised me to work till the end of this year and continue collecting my stipend but I have been thinking the work load is too much on me i work from home most weekends, if I continue I feel am slaving myself .
I learnt tailoring I can sew clothes very well I was thinking of using this remaining two months to go for tailoring upgrade class while applying for another job next month I will write my ICAN exam if I secure a job fine if not I will setup my business I have N2m . Am also worried because my parents will be feel disappointed that I open a tailoring shop instead of practising.
Please need advice on what to do am losing it already because of this.
