The pair first started dating in 2016 after meeting a decade prior in 2006.

After 7 years together, it appears that Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka have decided to go their separate ways.

While fans first speculated that the pair had split after Tanaka was noticeably absent from Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All! tour, which kicked off back in Nov., a source recently confirmed to People that the choreographer would not accompany his former flame on her annual holiday trip to Aspen, despite attending in the past.

Bryan’s absence from the trip marks the first time that he hasn’t traveled with the singer and her twins, Moroccan and Monroe (whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon), over the holidays in several years. Neither Carey nor Tanaka have yet to comment on the split.

The pair’s alleged breakup comes months after they were last publicly linked together back in March, when Tanka shared a sweet Instagram post in honor of Carey’s birthday. At the time, Bryan celebrated Mariah’s “anniversary” with a black-and-white photo of the pair alongside the caption, “This is one of my favorite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary my Beautiful Queen. 🦋3/27🦋❤️.”

Mariah and Bryan started dating in 2016, nearly a decade after they first connected during the singer’s Adventures of Mimi tour. While the pair took a brief break in spring 2017, they’ve celebrated Christmas together every year since their relationship first became romantic.

Although Carey hasn’t spoken out about the reported breakup, she recently opened up to People about her hopes for this year’s Christmas season. “I’ve been looking forward to this Christmas for, like, the whole year. Since last year — because last year wasn’t the greatest,” she told the publication last month. “I’m thankful for them all, but it wasn’t my most fun version of Christmas ever. Come hell or high water, this year, this Christmas, we are going to have fun.”
