I don’t know if l should call the place Mama Chinedu took me to; a Church, or a Temple, or both.
Mama Chinedu stopped at the entrance of the strange looking place, and directed me to remove my shoes, before entering the ‘Holy place.’, l did as l was told and entered the dimly lighted hall alone. All around the hall were strange looking candles in whatever colours you can imagine. Some of the candles were as tall as a standing fan. The hall also had a strange kind of choking smell, like the smell of burning incense mixed with an insecticide. Also littered around the hall were little wax images of couples, most of them tied together with a small chain and held by padlocks.
I nervously made my way to the center of the hall, where a strange-looking man in white flowing gowns and a white turban, sat on a low stool watching me intently.
Immediately l got to within a feet of where he sat, l stopped, bowed and greeted him,
“Good morning prophet, l’ve come to you, for help because…”
He immediately cut me short and started,
“Look woman, your husband is the problem, he’s suffering from low- sperm count, so he can’t father a child, l have already seen the revelation even before you started speaking, you are going to have kids o, you will get pregnant at once, But you will have to sleep here for fourteen nights for special prayers.”
I was shocked beyond words.
“But prophet, l’m working and l have a family to look after, l don’t know how l will leave my work and home and come here”
“No one is saying you shouldn’t go to work,” he replied, stroking his long unkempt beard, “you could come when you are through with your job and sleep over until the next morning.”
“That’s if you really want to get pregnant and save your marriage o”, he added sarcastically.
I reasoned along his line. Staying there for two weeks was not too much, if l was determined to keep my marriage from a Vulture like Amara, But the problem was how to convince Emeka that l would not be sleeping at home for two whole weeks.
Necessity they say is the mother of invention. So l invented a good lie. I told him about a Course, l would be attending in Abuja, l told him that l was going to be away for two weeks.
My husband didn’t even attempt to dissuade me from attending the course, or to find out if l was telling the truth or not. He just said “Okay, safe trip”, and that was all. Perhaps, he wanted me gone, so he would have the best of time with that useless Amara.
I left home and checked into a hotel close to the Church. I was shuttling from the hotel to the Church, then to the office.
I had intensive exhausting prayer sessions on the first, second and third nights, with the prophet and his group of seven “prayer warriors.” But on the fourth night, the prayer session took a different dimension. The Prophet had informed me that l would have a “special” prayer session with him alone at his temple from 12:00am to 3:am.
I got to the Temple at the designated hour, but something got me thinking, while we were praying, he pulled off his white garment and instructed me to pull mine. It was dark in the Temple, very dark.
“But Prophet”, l protested.
“You do what l say if you really want to get pregnant”, he said, “that’s how others got their kids!”
“I am married, I’m someone’s wife” l barked at him.
“Is it not through S.e.x that a woman can get pregnant?, I’m not asking you to fall in love with me. I’m only helping you through “divine intervention” to have your own child. You can continue loving your husband, but you have to cooperate with me, so l can do my job”, he said.
It was just too much for me, so l suddenly got up from my kneeling position, ran to the door, forced it open, and ran out of the Temple.
I have been away for some day now. I have confided in Mama Chinedu, who took me to that strange place in the first place. And she told me that l better accept the Prophet’s proposal, that whatever it will take to save my marriage is worth the try. She even added that she knows a lot of women, who had gotten pregnant out of the Prophet’s “divine intervention.”
Yes l want to save my marriage. I want to have a child, but will it be wise to go about it this way, knowing the full implications and the guilt?
Somebody should tell me what to do please, l’m confused. I feel like I’m losing it.

You know from the forst time you went there, it was a wrong move. Please, stop going there, this is how people bring problems to themselves.
Go to a genuine church, mama Chinedu is a bad influence on you. If your husband eventually leaves you, please dont let it affect you, I alwaysa say, you cant trust people, people will do what they want.
There is this online prayer NSDDP, im not sure I got it right, I hope someone here will give the correct info about it, try it out.

Madam don’t dare sleep with that demon infested man! He’s of no good! Stop your friendship with that woman, she’ll ruin you gradually!
Has your husband done tests to ascertain his sperm motility and virility? If no, let him go and do it, so that you will know what’s wrong! Your husband might be the cause unknowingly to you, but hiding under African culture to torment you.
You sound educated yet naive. If the problem is from you, there plenty ways to seek solution.
Above all, go back to God, ask God for mercy for your foolishness. Do not go back there again!
A word is enough for the wise.
Go back home,go to your maker,go to Him,Him alone can do what no man or prophet can do.
Go home and take full charge of your marriage.

Do not go to that temple again ooo…mama chinedu is evil, don’t allow her close to u anymore.
Go to God in prayer. U were able to kneel in the dirty place you can equally do that in your matrimonial home, talk to God about your problems. He will surely comfort you.
